Acer Iconia Smart
Acer ICONIA SMART is a powerful smartphone with Android 2.3 Gingerbread which supports up to 14Mbps HSPA+ networks. It has 4.8″ TFT display, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 1.1 GHz processor, Wi-Fi, GPS and DLNA. Accelerometer for better multimedia experience, Touch-sensitive controls, Proximity sensor to turn off phones while calling, Six-axis gyro sensor with multi touch input method.
Acer Iconia Smart’s 4.8-inch touchscreen display supports 1024×480 pixel resolution. This smartphone also has Dolby Surround Sound technology for audio to match up with the large screen. Under the chassis lies a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that would ensure smooth functioning of the mobile OS. Iconia Smart runs Google Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread and Acer UI 4.0 dubbed as Breeze layered on top of it. As this phone will run with much powerful processor it was expected to be powerful battery with it. Literally it owns Li-Po 1500 mAh Standard battery which can provide standby time Up to 450 h (2G) / Up to 500 h (3G) and Talk time Up to 11 h (2G) / Up to 8 h (3G).

The phone also supports Flash 10.1. No limit in assessing any web sites with the same user experience as using a traditional PC, so web sites don’t need to be resized and adjusted, thanks to its exceptional resolution of 1024×480 and a very large 4.8″ screen (12.2cm diagonal), there is no need to zoom in on web pages, or to scroll left & right. The only thing you need to do is scroll up & down, just like on your PC.
Price of this Iconia Smart is expected Rs. 22ooo/-. This is a very competing price with Dell streak and Samsung Galaxy S series.
