Airtel 3G launched in India- Karnataka | Airtel 3G Settings, review and Tariff

 

Bangalore, Karnataka was first to taste the 3G speed of Airtel 3G. They have recently launched their 3G Video call and data services in Karnataka, India. Bangalore has 3G connections working all over. There are many companies that have launched 3G before which include big players like BSNL, Tata Docomo and Reliance. But Airtel has biggest customer base in the company and they are planning to do something big this time.

They have priced the plans very smartly and competitive to other 3G market players but still need to review the price for other parts of India. Airtel is using HSPA network to provide data at speed up to 21 Mbps. They have planned to spread 3G service all over the country (widespread till May 2011). We will keep an eye on them and let you all know as soon they launch their service in other parts of the country. They have planned the tariff very smartly and you can check that as below.

How to Activate Airtel 3G?

Go to Settings >> General >> Network >> EDGE
and enter

APN: Airtelgprs.com
Username: Leave it blank
Password: Leave it blank

Proxy: do not use
