Airtel 3G launched | Mumbai, New Delhi, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu first to have Airtel 3G
Telecom joint Airtel has launched 3G services finally in Mumbai, New Delhi, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. They were on test drive and now they have launched in full phase. We have already reviewed the Tariff and they were too high. Airtel has no unlimited plan and charging 30 paise per 20 KB. You can also try our Free Airtel 3G hack if it is working for you.
I think Airtel needs to compete with Tata Docomo 3G and BSNL 3G so they need to bring down the Tariff. I only liked there one plan â" Named as Flexi Shield Plan rental if this plan is Rs.675 which gives 1.25 GB of free usage. Once you cross the limit, theyâll charge 1paise per 100kb. This will stay until your bill amounts to Rs.2000 and then the plan gets changed to 128kbps unlimited connection. It means you can download around 15GB for Rs 2000. So this is not too impressive, I still stick with my BSNL 3G connection.
