Havok Game Engine for Android 2.3 Gingerbread | Review and Download

The Havok game engine is coming to Android, and it will be optimised for the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY. Check out these demos of  Havoc physics and animation, behaviour and destruction running of the Xperia PLAY. Havok game engine developed to help developers to create better games and provide better gaming experience for Android users. In the video, Marcus Hansson which is a Sony Ericsson representative, demoes a couple of features available to developers using the Havok engine. They have demoed the possibilities of the engine on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and they said that we can expect games to enter development using this engine for our Android devices.

First of them is the ability to create destructible environments, which should make games feel more natural. Speaking of natural, the Havok engine also supports rag-doll physics. The engine was used in a large array of Triple A titles like Uncharted 2, Halo 3, Half-Life 2, StarCraft II, Soul Calibur IV and so on.

Once this type of Game experice come to mobile devices, they will change the gaming world.
