Use airtel 2G plan with 3G


Hello friends, today I'll tell you how to use airtel 2G plan with 3G speed.

First of all activate 3G services on your number.

Now you need to activate 10MB for Rs8 with 1day validity (3G Plan) .

For that SMS 3G to 121 and you will receive a sms  ''3G services is already activated''.

There will be option of Data plans reply with 1 follow the instructions and activate that plan.

The plan will get activated or else you can call customer care and get it easly activated.

Once the plan is activated it will be valid till 12am mid-nite.

Do not use Internet.as soon as ur Plan gets activated.

Kindly activate 100MB plan for Rs.10 (2G Plan) 3Days Validity. Activate this plan by dialing *567#.

Once the Plan is activated u can see ur MB Balance is 100 MB with 3days Validity by dialing *123*6#.

That's it Guys !

After 3days your Rs.10 will get deducted and you will receive next 100MB with another 3 days validity with 3G speed.

That means u are paying Rs 100 for 1GB per mnth with 3G speed.

Please do not try to activate any other 2G plan like RS 46 or Rs 98 as it might be a risk ..

My friend is using this since 2 weeks and it appears to be working fine.

    Every thng is under control now. There were some problems, so speeds was high on 2G plan. Now there is just a boost in the speed from airtel, for 2G users.

    I got good speed(50KB/sec) in 2g plan rs .98 for 1 month automatically in my n73,but now i'm not getting it(now again 7-10KB/sec)

    Hey all just activate 98 rupees internet for 2gb on 2g and activate 3g and use it. you can use 3g at 2g costs i works for me. it works for sure in any state

    hey the plan which u said ( 100MB plan for Rs.10 (2G Plan) 3Days Validity.) i just checked it comes with only one day validity . N secondly if 3g once activated on the number i.e. Rs.10 for a day then till we got balance in our account daily Rs. 10 will be deducted from the balance for this 3g plan till we manually deactivate the 3g plan

    no still 10th october i a using this 3g,as i had a 3g handset and i didnt change 2g to 3g but i am getting 3g signal hspda ie 2mbps speed for 98 plans cool

    for the past 4 months i am using 3g speed in 2g Plans. Still today it gives me 3.4mbps speed.
    Mine is a tamilnadu based number residing at chennai. so its roaming in chennai.

    there is a plan called 185 (4GB day and 1GB night free, 2months validity). it will be recharged through easy recharge... so 1 GB costs me 37 rupee. a very big deal...

    But then it means we can use only 100mb a day
    And we cant afford.to be out of balance ....
    Well i've been using 2g plan on 3g sim and the fact is you will be somewhr in middle of 3g and 2g

    if you just simply activate 3g and use 2g data plan the speed will be better than 2g but not as good as 3g .....nd its good enuff

    Once I got message that your mobile no. created free 100 mb 3g data with validity of 7 days I surfed on pc and 100mb data finished in 30 minutes.
    Then I activate Rs 98 plane for 1 gb data internet and surprise the speed was like 3g...It works

    i have purchased new 3G airtel sim and is working great. in data card the speed is on average 400 kbps.... really great speed...... but one thing...can i switch from WCDMA to GSM??? and will i have to recharge for 2g net seperatly??? means, its my choice to use 2g or 3g in the same sim.... is it possible????

    Bhai ye such hai.but mane ye sab tab kya tha jab airtel ne 11 rs par 30 minat ka data diya tha. Abhi kabhi-2 speed fast ho jati hai. Jab 11 mane 30 minat ka plan airtel ka chal raha tha. Use time mane roj 2 se 4 gb tak downloading karta tha par ab nahi hota. Agar kisi ko samjna hai to mujhe mail karna . Mujhse jitana ho sakega mai help karuga. Ashok.manral@gmail.com
