Download torrents directly to dropbox – Boxopus

Boxopus is a new web service that lets people download torrents directly to their Dropbox account. A BitTorrent client is not required for the operation because torrent downloads are handled by Boxopus servers and files are pushed to Dropbox account completely anonymously. 

Using Boxopus is extremely easy. After pairing Dropbox account with Boxopus, users can add unlimited number of torrents in download queue. Boxopus servers will take care of the download queue and push all finished downloads in a folder under user’s Dropbox account.

“Cloud storage is an emerging trend, it’s obvious that sooner or later everything will be in the cloud. That’s why we decided to unite Dropbox and BitTorrent to make downloads as easy as 1 click, without using even a BitTorrent client,” Boxopus founder Alex told.

Features of Boxopus

1. User’s don’t require a BitTorrent client and their bandwidth is not spent.

2. Downloads are completely anonymous.

3. Downloads can be started from any computer or mobile device that can access Boxopus’s website.

4. Finished torrent files can be synced to all computers running Dropbox.

5. Boxopus does not has access to user’s file stored in their Dropbox account.

Service will be completely free and unlimited during beta testing stage. After that, some limits will be imposed on free subscriptions.
