Google fiber is live - first speedtest

There has been a lot of anticipation and buzz about gigabit home internet service "Google fiber" in the tech world. Today this experimental technology went live for the first time in Kansas city and here's the unrealistic proof. The image attached to this post shows speedtest result (yes, you are not dreaming).

Just imagine what you could do with an internet connection that fast. Blazing fast browsing and downloads, multi user online games with zero lag, unlimited painless torrent transfers, real-time HD streaming, there are endless possibilities all at the cost of $70 a month. I've already packed my stuff. Now all I need is an air ticket to Kansas. Haha, just kidding! But seriously, Indian ISPs should also try to innovate bit by bit and gradually work towards better user experience rather than planning ways to juice more money for substandard services they provide.
