PageSpeed Insights is a very handy tool offers by Google that lets webmasters check loading performance of a webpage. It generates very detailed analysis report and provides useful suggestions to make webpages load faster, it also provides a PageSpeed Score out of 100.
The tool is available at following address:
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights
When I analyzed the home page of this blog, it got a PageSpeed Score of 95 (out of 100). That's a number I can live with. :P It also provided some medium and low priority suggestions.
Now here's the thing that's bugging me.
1. This Javascript file rests on Google's server. How am I supposed to optimize this?
2. Same with these CSS files.
Yet another set of suggestions I can't work on because all the files belong to blogger, Google, Goolge plus.
I think Google should start following its own suggestions or quit providing such suggestions or may be Google expects webmasters to quit using Adsense, Google search for websites etc to optimize page speed.
