Here's a quick post to let you know about a trick to use free GPRS on mobile with mms settings but without any proxy.

Create a new access point with following settings:

Connection name: FreeG
Access point name : rcommms or mms depending on your location.( mms works in north  )
Leave the other settings as they are.
Now goto advanced settings and change DNS settings as :
Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS : 8.8.4.4

Now save the settings and launch your favorite browser ( opera mini or ucweb is prefered ). Use the newly created access point for free GPRS and enjoy with us.

Please note that this trick was found working in Maharashtra and adjoining states but it may work in other states as well. Let me know if it works.

Create a new internet profile with following data

Access point name: rcommms
Proxy: 59.165.14.39
Port: 3128.
or
Access point name: rcommms,
Proxy: 203.92.44.228
Port: 8080


Now connect with this internet profile and enjoy speed upto 300kbps at 0 balance.
