Indian government asks major internet firms to censor content
Indian Government, after feeling offended by some content on Facebook, Google and other similar platforms, has asked these internet companies to monitor any user generated content before publishing them.
The New York Times reported that Telecom & IT Minister Kapil Sibal had called legal representatives from the various Internet service providers and Facebook to his office about six weeks ago. He had showed them a Facebook page that allegedly maligned Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
"This is unacceptable," he had told the representatives, one executive who had attended the meeting said.
The minister had asked them to find a way to monitor what is posted on their sites.
Sibal had asked them to employ humans to censor content, not technology, one executive said.
Is Indian Government unaware of the massive amounts of user generated contents that these sites publish every second or is it an attempt to tackle the growing problem of employment ? ( sarcasm )

I have seen people getting confused about this so I've explained it here.
- Goto mobile.prepaidsbi.com.
- Select your phone manufacturer from drop down list ( Eg Nokia ) and submit form.
- It is available for almost all types of phones like htc, micromax, nokia, samsung, windows, LG, Song-ericsson, blackberry and fly mobile.
- On the next page, write your phone's model number ( Eg E7-00 ) and submit form.
- The website will find a suitable version of application and provide download links.
- Download the application and Install on your phone.

Your balance must be above Rs.10 for this trick to work.
Steps:
First SMS SURPRISE to 1901
Then SMS TC to 404
You'll get the following:
3000 Local/National SMS.
Rs.40 Talktime.
A2A call rate - 1p/6 seconds.
A2Others call rate 1p/2 seconds.
This trick was tested and found working by my friends in Gujrat.
