Youtube introduces feature to blur faces in a video
Earlier if you wanted to do that, you could either use a video processing software to blur all faces (with no precision or guarantee) before uploading the video or you could simply drop the idea of sharing the video on YouTube.
Now it's easy because of a feature recently introduced on YouTube which lets you blur every face in a video by simply pressing a button.
YouTube Policy associate Amanda Amanda Conway, in an official blog post, explained
Whether you want to share sensitive protest footage without exposing the faces of the activists involved, or share the winning point in your 8-year-old's basketball game without broadcasting the children's faces to the world, our face blurring technology is a first step towards providing visual anonymity for video on YouTube.
This is an amazing feature which can save lives, help people stay anonymous while spreading a message, protest without worrying about their privacy. I'm sure a lot of people are going to love this. What do you think? Drop in your comments.

Google video will no longer be available after 29 april 2011
Google Video was created as a competitor to YouTube but the latter simply took an unassailable lead. Google then bought YouTube and today it does play host to several hundreds of millions of videos and equal number of users.
So Google has realized that maintaining to similar services was not really useful and decided to shut down Google Videos.
Message on Google Video’s website reads:
On April 29 2011, uploaded videos will no longer be available for playback.
Now when we access our videos on Google Videos, a download button shows up and we can download the files in FLV format.
Moving from Google Video to YouTube is difficult!
The message is short and simple but if you have some videos on Google Video and want it transferred to your YouTube account, the method is not at all short and simple.
First we need to download all the video files on our computer and then separately upload them on YouTube.
I find it difficult to belive, how Google will retain Google Video users to YouTube with this strange request. I mean if you are moving files from one service to another by the same company there should be an easier and automated way.
I guess Google has gone a little lazy and instead of coming up with an online tool to transfer from Google Videos to YouTube or Picasa account, it has left the burden on users themselves.
Another reason might be that the usage on Google Video might be so low, that Google does not want to waste time on creating an online tool for it specifically.
What are your views on lack of a simpler system to move videos from Google Videos to YouTube?

YouVid - chrome extension to download videos from directly from youtube
Recently, I wrote a post about the 10 best Chrome Extension for YouTube. These extensions were basically useful for people who spend a lot of their time on YouTube. I had not found a good and decent extension to download YouTube videos while watching them.
Thanks to a tip by Marco on my post, I came across YouVid a nice extension which helps users download videos from YouTube.
YouVid Chrome Extension Features

[YouTube] Make Videos of Your Online Photo Albums in 5 Minutes!
YouTube thankfully now has a new feature that allows creating short videos of our photos albums without the need of any software. All you need is a decent browser.
How to make YouTube movies of you web albums?
- Firstly visit YouTube Stupeflix Studio features from http://youtube.com/create.
- Now look up the photos your want uploaded. I could choose my photo albums from Picasa, Facebook and Flickr. Also we can simply upload them from the computer itself.
- The images then appear below like a slideshow. The order of these images can be customized along with adding text to appear with every image.
- Then for dramatic effect, we can even add some background music that gives a professional touch to the slideshow clip.
- We are all done. Now all we need to do is hit publish and StupeFlix Video Maker will create the video and load it up on your YouTube account.
I created a video within minute using this feature showcasing rtCamp’s love for Macbooks!
The only one downside I found was, we can create such videos which are only for one minute. More than one minute videos can be made with premium accounts.
